Broadcast Radio versus Internet Radio

 

The KRAW-LP broadcast operation is conducted with FCC "by-the-book" discipline.

The Broadcast station content has a Rawlins local focus.

The broadcast station is "real-time" audio only, no video or graphics capability.

We cannot broadcast advertising/sales.

We have restricted political content.

We support music content by maintaining license subscriptions

The KRAW-LP Internet Radio Station has very few restrictions.

The Internet Radio station has a global audience and content capability.

Internet Radio combines "real-time" content, prerecorded and archived content.

The Internet Radio station may sell and solicit commercial advertising.

The Internet Radio station may engage in political activities

The Internet Radio station is has video and graphics capability

Music on the Internet station is not available under our broadcast music licenses.
